It’s nice to see good artists working with each other and the Phonte/9th Wonder combination is always top notch. I like this song a lot but I wasn’t going to post it until I saw the video. The Evidence verse is really quite funny. When life gives you lemons, let your mom rap the verse. Enjoy.

Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson are The Uncluded – “Bats”
This is exactly what I thought this would sound like. Kimya Dawson does her cute, folky, kooky sing-songy rhymes. And Aesop Rock delivers his tongue-twisting delivery and kills it as usual. The Uncluded album Hokey Fright will drop at some point after Aesop Rock’s Skelethon (July10th). Here is “Bats”. It is a 6:44 track that just makes me want more. A lot more. The lyrics are included in this particular video(with some typos). Enjoy.

Beach House – “Lazuli”
I love this band. Their album Bloom will be out May 15th. Here is the latest single “Lazuli”. It’ sounds like the greatest retro video game ever. Enjoy.
Deep Time – “Clouds”
I don’t know much about this band other than they used to be called Yellow Fever, they are a duo and from Austin, Texas. I thought this song was worth sharing, friends. It will be the best 2:46 you have spent listening to music today. Enjoy.
Tennis- “Petition”
I have to credit my friend Nick for putting me on this. I kept hearing good things about this band but never got around to listen. At first glance it looks like Melissa Etheridge, luckily it is not. This is catchy pop music at it’s best. I have posted a live version and album version. Enjoy.
SBTRKT- “Hold On”
This is a standout track from their self-titled album that came out last year. It is nice for a day like today. Breezy beautiful 70 degree day. This isn’t the official video but who cares. Enjoy.
The Shins – “Simple Song” on SNL
El-P – Cancer for Cure and New Single
5 years after his last album, El-P is going to release Cancer for Cure May 22nd. I have been a fan for a few years and am eager to see what he does on his new label, Fat Possum. If “The Full Retard” is any indication of what is to come, this guy refuses to change or compromise. Also here is one of my favorites and the track that really made me an El-P fan, “Smithereens” . S/O to Sev Seveer for putting me on this years ago. Enjoy.
Kwes. – “bashful”
Just found this. Never heard it until 12 minutes ago. I can’t stop listening to it. Enjoy.
