Big K.R.I.T. – “4evaNaDay” (Video)

This is the official video for Big K.R.I.T.’s title track of his mixtape 4evaNaDay.  This is a stand-out track that you might need a decent sound sound system to truly appreciate.  Southern Hip-Hop at it’s finest.   Watch out for his proper release Live From the Underground on Def Jam June 5th. Enjoy.

Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson are The Uncluded – “Bats”

This is exactly what I thought this would sound like.  Kimya Dawson does her cute, folky, kooky sing-songy rhymes. And Aesop Rock delivers his tongue-twisting delivery and kills it as usual.  The Uncluded album Hokey Fright will drop at some point after Aesop Rock’s Skelethon (July10th). Here is “Bats”. It is a 6:44 track that just makes me want more.  A lot more.  The lyrics are included in this particular video(with some typos). Enjoy.

Cleveland Cavaliers w/o LeBron James

I feel bad for them.  When LeBron left, I felt horrible.  They were defiant.  They said they didn’t need LeBron, they did.  They said they will win a Championship before Lebron does, they won’t(I hope they do). They were burning his jersey and tweeting about him being replaceable, he’s not.  They need him and will continue to need him. They whole city needs him.

They got lucky with the #1 pick and got a nice player, Kyrie Irving in a down year for the draft.  I think they can turn it around in a few years. A couple good drafts and the development of Omri Casspi will do the trick.

This story is all you need to know about the Cavaliers.  It is sad. They currently have 7 players with D-League experience. Ouch. Their roster is filled with, “Who?” guys.  On the bright side, Luke Haragody is doing well. Enjoy.

Florence + The Machine – MTV Unplugged

I honestly have not watched MTV in about 5 years. I think it is a sign of getting older and more mature. Or it might be that I don’t like watching train-wrecks, teen pregnancies, fist pumping, or Carson Daly(In my brain TRL still exists and this stroke still hosts it). But, I have always had a lot of respect for the Unplugged series.  Here is Florence + The Machine effortlessly performing a beautiful show. When you hear Florence Welch or Adele sing it’s just so easy for them. It is refreshing to see.  Compare this type of live singing to someone with hype behind them i.e. Lana Del Rey. Click the picture and enjoy.
